Buchy (in French pronounced as /byʃi/) is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the Normandy region in northern France. On 1 January 2017, the former communes of Bosc-Roger-sur-Buchy and Estouteville-Écalles were merged into Buchy.[2]

The inhabitants of the town of Buchy are called Buchois, Buchoises in French.[3]

Geography

A small farming town situated in the Pays de Bray some 16miles northeast of Rouen, at the junction of the D7, D41 and the D919 roads. Montérolier-Buchy station has rail connections to Rouen, Lille and Amiens.
