The Brussels tram route 25 is a tram route connecting Rogier in the municipality of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode and Bondael Gare in Ixelles.[1]

History

Tram line 25, in its current form, was introduced in April 2007 during the reorganization of public transport in Brussels, replacing the old Tram Lines 90 and 93.

In 2022, STIB announced they'd redirect tram 25 towards Alma via the Brussels Media Parc.[2]

In 2023, STIB announced plans to split the line into two different lines, which was protested by affected citizens.[3] The plans were changed so line 25 will not change, but it will sometime be redirected to Esplanade, while line 11 will take over the part from Rogier to Meiser and continue to Bourget.
