Ogbe Japhet (born 15 December 1998) professionally known as “Brosthrone” is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.[1] [2] He gained recognition with the release of his single “Big God” featuring Lilcase.[3]
Ogbe Japhet was born on 15 December, 1998 in Benin City, Edo State to Mr and Mrs Ebose Ogbe. He was born as the youngest of eight children and spent most of his childhood in Benin City.[4] After his primary education, he acquired his secondary education from Idogbo Secondary School, Edo state.[5]
Japhet discovered his passion for music when he was still a child. As a teenager in secondary school, he participated in several music competitions and shows.[6]
However, his music career officially started in 2023 with the release of his first single “Big God” featuring Lilcase. In June 2024, Japhet released his first album comprising 7 tracks and featuring Blaqbonez, Zlatan and Alpha P.[7]
