Brookula decussata explained
Brookula decussata is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk unassigned in the superfamily Seguenzioidea.
This species is considered sometimes a synonym of Brookula pfefferi Powell, A.W.B., 1951, but B. decussata is somewhat smaller and a has a more definite sculpture with fewer spirals and more axials.[1]
Description
The maximum recorded size of the shell is 2.5 mm.
Distribution
This marine species occurs off the South Orkney Islands and off The Antarctic Peninsula.
