Broadus Airport is a county-owned, public-use airport located 3mile northwest of the central business district of Broadus, a town in Powder River County, Montana, United States. This new airport was built at a cost of $2 million to replace the old Broadus Airport which is now closed.[2]

The old airport, located approximately 2mile southeast of the new airport, was closed in 2005, and the new airport is 2miles northwest of Broadus, north of U.S. Highway 212, along Montana Highway 59.

Broadus Airport covers an area of 160acres and had one runway designated 10/28 with a asphalt surface. For the 12-month period ending July 11, 2006, the airport had 5,350 aircraft operations, an average of 14 per day: 98% general aviation and 2% air taxi.

Old airport

The old Broadus Airport was located at coordinates 45.4331°N -105.4169°W. It covered an area of 32acres at an altitude of above mean sea level. The airport had one asphalt paved runway (11/29) measuring .[3]
