Borys Yuriyovych Derkach (Ukrainian: Борис Юрійович Деркач; Russian: Борис Юрьевич Деркач; 14 January 1964 – May 2019)[1] was a Soviet and Ukrainian professional football player.
From 1992 to 2005 he was in a Hungarian jail, with an original sentence of 11 years for an assault on a Hungarian pimp and two Ukrainian prostitutes. Later the sentence was increased for an escape attempt.[2] He also played during the season 1991–92 with Bulgarian side PFC Levski Sofia, but made no appearances in the league, just one in the Bulgarian Cup.[3]
