Borkhar County (Persian: شهرستان برخوار) is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Dowlatabad.[2]

History

After the National Census of 2006, the county was created from the division of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County into Borkhar County and Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County. Borkhar County was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Dowlatabad as its capital.[2] After the 2011 census, the village of Sin was elevated to the status of a city.[3]

Population

At the time of the 2011 census, the county's population was 108,933 people in 31,562 households.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 122,419 in 37,623 households.[5]
