Bonggi language explained
Bonggi (Banggi) is an Austronesian language spoken primarily by the Bonggi people of Banggi Island, off the northern tip of Sabah, Malaysia.

- a – pronounced as /[a/ã/ə̃]/, pronounced as /[ə]/ unstressed
- e – pronounced as /[e/ə]/
- i – pronounced as /[i/ɪ]/
- o – pronounced as /[o/ɔ/ɔ̃]/
- u – pronounced as /[u/ʊ]/
- aa – pronounced as /[aː]/
- ee – pronounced as /[eː]/
- ii – pronounced as /[iː]/
- oo – pronounced as /[ɔː]/
- uu – pronounced as /[uː]/
- ai – pronounced as /[aj/ai]/
- ou – pronounced as /[ou]/
Consonants
- b – pronounced as /[b]/, pronounced as /[β]/ between vowels, pronounced as /[bʷ/βʷ]/ before u
- d – pronounced as /[d]/, pronounced as /[dʲ]/ before i
- f – pronounced as /[f]/
- g – pronounced as /[g]/, pronounced as /[gʷ]/ before u
- h – pronounced as /[k/h]/, pronounced as /[hʲ]/ before i, pronounced as /[ʔ]/ at the end of a word
- j – pronounced as /[j/d͡ʒ]/
- k – pronounced as /[k/k']/
- l – pronounced as /[l]/, pronounced as /[lʲ]/ before i
- m – pronounced as /[m/mʷ]/

At the ends of words, k, p, and t are not released.[1]
