The village is located in the Gorodkov Brook basin (a tributary of the Prutishche in the basin of the Seym), 79.5 km from the Russia–Ukraine border, 46 km north-west of Kursk, 20 km north-east of the district center – the urban-type settlement Konyshyovka, 2 km from the selsoviet center – Maloye Gorodkovo.[3]
