Bolsheboldinsky District (ru|Большебо́лдинский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the forty in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia.[1] Municipally, it is incorporated as Bolsheboldinsky Municipal District.[2] It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 866.5km2. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Bolshoye Boldino. Population: 12,035 (2010 Census); The population of Bolshoye Boldino accounts for 42.2% of the district's total population.
The district was established in 1929.
