Bolkhovsky District (ru|Бо́лховский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Oryol Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1182.2km2.[3] Its administrative center is the town of Bolkhov. Population: 18,041 (2010 Census); The population of Bolkhov accounts for 63.3% of the district's total population.
