Bob Ringwood (born 25 November 1946) is a retired British costume designer. He is perhaps best known for creating the costumes for David Lynch's science fiction film Dune (1984),[1] as well as Tim Burton's superhero film Batman (1989) and its sequel, Batman Returns (1992). Ringwood has been nominated twice, for Empire of the Sun (1987) and Troy (2004), for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.[2] [3]
