• Dominion Marine Media (DMM) was established in May 2011, following the bringing together of all Dominion Enterprises marine assets; Boat Trader with YachtWorld and boats.com.
• In 2014, DMM acquired Cosas de Barcos.^[4]
• In July 2016, Funds advised by Apax Partners^[5] announced that they had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Dominion Marine Media ("DMM"), from Dominion Enterprises, a subsidiary of Landmark Media Enterprises.^{[6] [7]}
• January 30, 2017, Dominion Marine Media acquires YachtCloser^[8]
• On February 17, 2017, Dominion Marine Media (DMM) rebranded to Boats Group, LLC.^[9]
