The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sukkur^[1] was formed in 8.10.1979 in the city of Sukkur, Sindh to facilitate examinations for high schools and higher secondary schools or intermediate colleges.^{[2] [3]}

History

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sukkur was founded on October 8, 1979. The Board's offices were initially located in a section of A.B.D. Law College Sukkur. Later, they were moved to rented bungalows at the Muslim Housing Society on Military Road Sukkur. In 1985, the Board began using its current location and officials.^[4]

The Board's territorial jurisdiction at the time of its creation included the following Districts:

• Sukkur
• Khairpur
• Larkana
• Shikarpur
• Nawabshah (current territories of District Naushahroferoze)
• Sukkur (present territories of District Ghotki)

The current areas in its jurisdiction are:

• District Sukkur
• District Ghotki
• District Khairpur
• District Naushahro Feroze
• Taluka Daulatpur (Nawabshah District)
