Bhatghar Dam is a gravity dam on the Velvandi (वेळवंडी) river near Bhor, in the Pune district of the state of Maharashtra in India.It is one of the oldest dams in Maharashtraconstructed by the British during the time of the British Raj.
The height of the dam above the lowest foundation is 57.92m (190.03feet) while the length is 1625m (5,331feet).The volume content is 650e6m3 and gross storage capacity is 666e6m3.[1]
