Berehove (Ukrainian: Берегове; Russian: Береговое; Crimean Tatar; Crimean Turkish: Kastropol from greek Kastròpolis, Καστρόπολις, "castle-city") is an urban-type settlement in the Yalta Municipality of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and annexed by Russia as the Republic of Crimea.[2]

Berehove is located on Crimea's southern shore at an elevation of 77m (253feet).[1] The settlement is located 10.5km (06.5miles) west from Simeiz, which it is administratively subordinate to.[2] Its population was 478 in the 2001 Ukrainian census.[2] Current population:
