Bensonhurst Maternity Hospital^{[1] [2]} was built in the mid-1920s^{[3] [2]} "across Bay Parkway from JCH"^[4] (Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst). It had its share of families with fatherswho "paced ... and nervously smoked one cigarette after another"^[5] and families with sad news.^[6]

As of 2016, the building houses a Jewish School.^{[7] [8]}
