Benkovce (Hungarian: Benkőfalva, until 1899: Hungarian: Benkócz) is a village and municipality in Vranov nad Topľou District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

The village was first mentioned in historical records in 1363.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 138 metres and covers an area of 8.239 km².

According to the 2011 census, the municipality had 532 inhabitants: 515 Slovaks and 17 others unspecified.[1]
