Bedri Shala was a Kosovo Albanian soldier and commander who fought in the Kosovo War. He was born on June 2, 1969, in the village of Gjurgjica, Drenas, Kosovo. Shala was known for his bravery and leadership skills.
Shala was one of the commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army's (KLA) 113th Brigade, which operated in the Drenica region of Kosovo. He played a key role in the KLA's operations against Serbian forces during the Kosovo War. Shala was killed in action on August 10, 1998, during a battle with Serbian forces in the village of Gllogjan.[1]
