Bearcreek Township is one of twelve townships in Jay County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,587 (up from 1,578 at 2010[2]) and it contained 465 housing units.
Bearcreek Township was organized in 1836.[3]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.94%) is land and (or 0.03%) is water.[2] The streams of Deer Creek and Tri Run run through this township.
The township contains three cemeteries: Borris, Old Baptist and Pingrey.
