Basiliano (Friulian: Basilian; known until 1923 as Pasian Schiavonesco or Pasian Sclavonesc) is a Italian: [[comune]] (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 70km (40miles) northwest of Trieste and about 12km (07miles) southwest of Udine. Basiliano borders the following municipalities: Campoformido, Codroipo, Fagagna, Lestizza, Martignacco, Mereto di Tomba, Pasian di Prato, Pozzuolo del Friuli.
