Bablu Mahato, also known as Chandradeo Mahato, is an Indian politician and mla from Sindri Assembly constituency Jharkhand. He is the son of Anand Mahato, a well-known political figure in Jharkhand.[1] Anand Mahato served as a four-time MLA from Sindri and was actively associated with the Marxist Coordination Committee (MCC) until its merger with CPI(ML) Liberation in 2024.
Bablu Mahato worked as a government school teacher, focusing on education and contributing to the development of his local community.
Bablu Mahato is contesting the 38-Sindri constituency seat in the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections as a candidate of CPI(ML) Liberation.[2] [3] His campaign is supported by an alliance comprising Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Indian National Congress, and CPI(ML) Liberation.[4]
Bablu Mahato has stated his intention to uphold policies focused on workers' rights and grassroots development, similar to those advocated by his father. His campaign emphasizes strengthening public sector enterprises, ensuring labor rights, and advocating for the sustainable development of the Sindri region.[5] [6] [7]
