Azat-Châtenet (in French pronounced as /aza ʃatnɛ/; Occitan (post 1500);: Asac Chastanet) is a commune in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central France.

Geography

An area of farming, forests and lakes, comprising a small village and several hamlets situated in the valley of the Leyrenne river, some 10miles southwest of Guéret at the junction of the D42 and the D61.
