Az Zibar (Kurdish: Zêbar,زێبار)[1] [2] is a small town on the Great Zab in the mountains of the Erbil Governorate, Kurdistan Region in Iraq.[3] The Shanidar Cave is located 14km (09miles) to the southeast.[4]
