Avalon is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Santa Rosa County, Florida, United States. Survey and Plat made for AVALON BEACH COMPANY, Avalon, Florida. Permanent reference monuments at corners marked thusly within Control Survey. Recorded in Plat Book A Pages 1 to 10 Records of Santa Rosa County, Florida. (Date: September 19, 1925)

Its population was 722 at the 2020 census, up from 679 at the 2010 census. It is part of the PensacolaFerry PassBrent, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. Interstate 10 passes through the community.

Geography
