Aurikirkbya Explained

Aurikirkbya is an extinct genus of ostracod (seed shrimp) belonging to the suborder Beyrichicopina (ornamented beyrichiocopids^[1]) and family Kirkbyidae.^[2] It is found in Pennsylvanian^[3] to Triassic beds in North America,^[3] east Asia,^[2] southwest Asia, and Europe.
