Atopobacter Explained

Atopobacter is a Gram-positive, rod-shaped and facultatively anaerobic genus of bacteria from the family of Carnobacteriaceae with one known species (A. phocae).[1] [2] [3] Atopobacter phocae has been isolated from common seals.[3]
