Athletics at the 1955 Summer International University Sports Week – Men's triple jump explained

The men's triple jump event at the 1955 International University Sports Week was held in San Sebastián on 14 August 1955.^[1]

The winning margin was an enormous 81 cm which as of 2024 remains the only time the men's triple jump was won by more than 60 cm at these games.
