Aspergillus corrugatus is a species of fungus in the genus Aspergillus. It is from the Nidulantes section.[1] The species was first described in 1976.[2] It has been isolated from soil in Thailand.[1] It has been reported to produce asperthecin, emecorrugatin A, emecorrugatin B, sterigmatocystin, and norsolorinic acid.[1]
A. corrugatus has been cultivated on both Czapek yeast extract agar (CYA) plates and Malt Extract Agar Oxoid® (MEAOX) plates. The growth morphology of the colonies can be seen in the pictures below.
