Ashcroftine-(Y) is an alkali yttrium calcium carbonate mineral with the chemical formula KNa(Y,Ca)SiO(OH)(CO)·8HO. It was first identified in southern Greenland and named after British mineral collector Frederick Noel Ashcroft.[1]
