Asekeyevsky District (Russian: Асекеевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 2400km2.[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Asekeyevo. Population: 21,050 (2010 Census); The population of the administrative center accounts for 24.7% of the total district's population.
