Aria was a Japanese monthly josei/shōjo manga magazine published by Kodansha. In April 2010 an announcement was made about plans for a new magazine;[4] its first issue was published on July 28 of that same year.[5] The magazine was released in size B5 paper.
In 2013, Kodansha temporarily increased Arias print count by roughly 500% to approximately 80,000 copies because of the demand for the prologue chapter of the Attack on Titan spin-off , which was published before the serialization began.[6] On March 27, 2018, it was announced that the magazine would cease its publication on April 28, and most its series would be moved to Kodansha's new app Palcy.[7] [8]
