Arey Tatush Explained
The
Arey Tatush is a Russian
paramotor that was designed and produced by
Arey of
Krasnoyarsk for
powered paragliding. Now out of production, when it was available the aircraft was supplied complete and ready-to-fly.
[1] Design and development
The Tatush was designed to comply with the US FAR 103 Ultralight Vehicles rules as well as European regulations. It features a paraglider-style wing, single-place accommodation and a single engine in pusher configuration with a 1240NaN0 diameter two-bladed wooden propeller.[1]
The base model T120M uses the inexpensive 160NaN0 Russian-made Arey A-170 in-house engine, although options include the 240NaN0 Hirth F33 and the 160NaN0 Solo 210 on upgraded models.[1] [2]
As is the case with all paramotors, take-off and landing is accomplished by foot. Inflight steering is accomplished via handles that actuate the canopy brakes, creating roll and yaw.[1]
