Archimedes Ridge Explained

Archimedes Ridge [el. {{convert|1585|ft|abbr=on}}] is a ridge in North Slope Borough, Alaska, in the United States.

Archimedes Ridge was so named because it resembles an Archimedes' screw in aerial photographs.^[1]
