Apollonius (son of Chaeris) explained

Apollonius (Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: Άπολλώνιος), son of Chaeris, was a writer of ancient Greece, who is referred to by the scholiast on Aristophanes,^[1] and the Venetian Scholiast on Homer.^{[2] [3]} He is otherwise unknown.^[4]
