Aphanocarpus Explained

Aphanocarpus is a monospecific genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. It is placed in the tribe Psychotrieae.^[1]

It holds only one species, viz. Aphanocarpus steyermarkii, which is endemic to Venezuela.^{[2] [3]}
