Apellonia Explained

Apellonia (Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: Ἀπελλωνία), also Apollonia (Ἀπολλωνία), was a town and polis (city-state)[1] of ancient Crete.

The site of Apellonia is located near modern Agia Pelagia.[1]
