Among her other charting songs was "Any Old Way You Do".[1] The song was composed by Harlan Howard and was recorded in an uptempo style.
"Any Old Way You Do" was released as a single by Decca Records in February 1967. It was distributed as a seven-inch vinyl single that also included a B-side: "Your Ole Handy Man".[2] It was given a positive review by music publications following its release. Cashbox called the song "a cute racer" while Billboard called it "outstanding" and predicted it would make the top ten of the country chart. However, the song failed to enter the top ten. Making its debut on March 11, 1967, and spending 11 weeks on the chart, it rose into the top 40 of the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, peaking at number 32 in May.[3] It was included on Howard's 1967 studio album titled This Is Jan Howard Country.[4]
