Antomius Ryheen Wise (born 1982) is an American former NFL player, life strategist, and author.[1] [2] [3] He is known for his work in life strategy, tax and asset management, and involvement in various social causes.[4] After his career in professional football, Wise transitioned to tax strategy and humanitarian work.[5] [6] [7]
Antomius Wise was born and raised in College Park, Georgia. He attended Mount Zion High School, where he played football and led his team to the state championship game in his senior year.[8] [9] In 2002, Wise transferred to West Virginia University and spent a year with the Mountaineers.[10]
Wise attended four different colleges before graduating from Lambuth University, with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services.[11] [12] [13] He later earned an MBA with a focus on Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
Wise's professional football career began with minicamp invitations from the New Orleans Saints in 2005 and the Washington Commanders (then known as the Redskins) in 2006.[14] He also played in the Arena Football League for teams such as the Spokane Shock, San Angelo Stampede, and Iowa Barnstormers.[15]
In 2008, Wise founded Wise Protective Services LLC, an asset protection company offering financial solutions. He later founded Life Strategies 2.0 in 2022, a platform providing life coaching services.[16]
In 2012, Wise founded Wise Protective Services and More, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports domestic violence victims, and financial literacy, addresses youth obesity through sports and education, and mentors children whose parents have died from HIV/AIDS.[17] [18] [19]
Wise serves on the advisory board of the Kojensen Foundation, where he contributes to financial literacy and community development initiatives.
Wise is a public speaker who discusses overcoming adversity and achieving success. He has contributed to "The Change" book series and appeared on "The Charla Anderson Show", where he promotes financial literacy and provides life advice.[20] Wise co-authored "The Change vol 17", part of the self-empowerment book series. He has also participated in financial education initiatives such as the "Mocha Money Mondays" YouTube series.[21] [22]
Wise appeared on the reality show "The Joes", competing against football figures like LaVar Arrington, Isaac Bruce, and Jeff Garcia. The episode aired on September 8, 2010. In May 2023, Wise was a guest on WUSA9's "Great Day Washington", where he discussed "Tips for Creating Wealth on a W2 Income from a Life Strategist".[23]
Antomius Wise is married to Akilah. The couple has two sons and resides in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) area.
As of 2016, Wise is a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service.
