Anolis planiceps explained
Anolis planiceps, commonly known as the golden-scaled anole, orange-fanned leaf-litter anole, or goldenscale anole, is a species of lizard in the family Dactyloidae. The species is found in Venezuela, Guyana, Brazil, and Trinidad.[1]

Description
A. planiceps may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of .[1]
Reproduction
A. planiceps is oviparous.[1]
Etymology
The synonym, A. eewi, was named in honor of American herpetologist Ernest Edward Williams, a wordplay on his initials, E.E.W.[2]
