Anita Stewart (culinary author) explained

Anita Stewart, (2 July 194729 October 2020) was a Canadian culinary author and food activist.

Biography

Stewart was also the founder of Food Day Canada, the largest national culinary celebration in Canadian history. In 2011, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada.[1] Up until her death, she served as Food Laureate of the Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph.[2]

She died on 29 October 2020,[3] aged 73.
