Andrzej Gajec (born 20 September 1939 in Waśniów, died 29 November 1997) was a Polish local government official and engineer, who served as the mayor of Stalowa Wola from 1994 until his death in 1997.
He graduated from the Rzeszów University of Technology. Gajec worked as a designer at the Huta Stalowa Wola steelworks, and later at the Aviation Equipment Factory in Gorzyce. In the 1994 local elections, he was elected as a councilor representing the Social Residents' Forum. Subsequently, he was appointed as the mayor of Stalowa Wola, a position he held until his death three years later.[1] [2] He was buried in the Stalowa Wola Municipal Cemetery (III/C/3).[1]
