Amyris madrensis explained

Amyris madrensis, the mountain torchwood or Sierra Madre torchwood, is a species of flowering plant in the family Rutaceae.[1] [2] It is native to southern Texas and northeastern Mexico, with scattered populations elsewhere in Mexico.[3] A perennial shrub reaching but usually shorter, it is a member of the Tamaulipan thornscrub community.[1] [4]
