Amettes (in French pronounced as /amɛt/) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France.[2]
A farming village situated some 11miles west of Béthune and 32miles southwest of Lille, at the junction of the D69 and the D341 roads and by the banks of the river Nave.
Benedict Joseph Labre, Catholic saint, was born here in 1748.
