Amba is a neighbourhood of Mallarpur town in Rampurhat subdivision of Birbhum district in West Bengal, India.Amba is a ward of Mallarpur and also a mouza.
There is a Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram Hostel near Amba at mollarpur beside Ramkrishna ashram.[1] It is under Mallarpur Police Station.[2]
At the 2011 Census, Amba village had 339 families and a population of 1430 of which 715 were males while 715 were females In Amba village population of children with age 0-6 was 165 which makes up 11.54% of total population of village. Average Sex Ratio of Amba village was 1000 which is higher than West Bengal state average of 950.
