Amazon Q Explained

Amazon Q is a chatbot developed by Amazon for enterprise use. Based on both Amazon Titan and GPT generative artificial intelligence, it was announced on November 28, 2023.[1] [2] [3] It is able to help troubleshoot issues in cloud apps or group chats, or summarize documents.[4] As of November 2023, it costs $20 per month. At launch, it was a part of the Amazon Web Services management console.[5] [6] [7] Amazon CodeWhisperer is a part of Amazon Q Developer, a part of Amazon Q.

Technology

Q is based on Amazon Titan, as well as GPT technology. It utilizes the Amazon Bedrock repository of foundational models.[8] [9]
