Altus (Mygdonia) Explained

Altus or Altos (; Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: Άλτός) was a fortress town in Mygdonia near Therma (later Thessalonica). The town is mentioned by Stephanus of Byzantium and Theagenes of Macedon.
