Altair Peak, at 11825feet above sea level is the seventh highest peak in the Pioneer Mountains of Idaho, United States. The peak is located in Salmon-Challis National Forest and Custer County. It is the 25th highest peak in Idaho and about 1miles northeast of Standhope Peak and 0.85miles southwest of Pyramid Peak.[2] [3]
The Bear Canyon SNOTEL is at the southern base of Altair Peak.
