Alba Township is one of twenty-four townships in Henry County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 173 and it contained 90 housing units.[1] Alba Township changed its name from Elba Township on April 13, 1857. The name may be derived from Elba, New York, the native home of a share of the early settlers.[2]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.78%) is land and (or 0.22%) is water.[3]
