Afioga Aliki Faipule Alapati Tavite[1] is a Tokelauan politician who is the current Ulu-o-Tokelau since March 2024. The Ulu serves as the dependent territory's head of government.[2] [3]
The office of Ulu rotates on an annual basis between the Tokelau: [[Politics of Tokelau|Faipule]], atoll leaders, of each of the country's three atolls.[4] As Ulu he chairs the Council for the Ongoing Government of Tokelau.[5]
In the 2017 and 2020 general election, Tavite was elected as Tokelau: [[taupulega]], a member of the council of elders, of Nukunonu.[6] [7]
In the 2023 Tokelauan general election, Tavite was elected as the Tokelau: [[Politics of Tokelau|Faipule]] of Nukunonu.[8]
He is married to Silivia Tavite, a doctor who has served as Tokelau's Director of Health.[9] [10] [11]
